How it works

From raw footage to a cut in four steps

You shoot and you decide. The engine takes the boring part: syncing, transcribing, comparing takes and assembling the first version.

Explainer video · coming soonMeanwhile, the four steps below walk you through it with diagrams.

Watch the whole process

A walkthrough with real footage: import, send, receive the cut and export it to your editor.

  • With a video shot on two cameras and an external mic
  • What the engine does and what you decide
  • How it lands in Premiere with the alternatives
Step 1 of 4

Import your footage

Drop the card folder and your external audio. The app sorts camera, screen and assets, joins split recordings and syncs everything to the audio.

  • Several cameras and several recording sessions
  • External mic, screen recording and vlog
  • Warns you when a source has no audio
Step 2 of 4

Paste your script

Every paragraph of the script is matched to what you actually said. If you repeated a sentence five times, the engine compares the takes and keeps the good one.

  • Three claps mark “this take is good”
  • Improvised bits are not lost: they are set aside with a reason
  • No script? The engine infers it from what you said
Step 3 of 4

Send it and forget it

You see the price in credits before confirming. Only the audio and a light muted review copy travel; the server syncs, transcribes and cuts. You can close the app: the cut will be waiting.

  • The original video stays on your PC
  • Credits are held and charged only when the cut arrives
  • We email you when it is ready
Step 4 of 4

Review and export

The cut arrives as a document: you see what plays, what was removed and why. Swap a take with a click and export the XML to Premiere or DaVinci, or a direct MP4.

  • Every alternative travels in the XML
  • Markers on every doubtful decision
  • Each change you make is a new version: nothing is lost

What it saves you

The boring part of editing, done

Hours of rough cutting

A 15-minute scripted video is two or three hours of hunting for the good take. Here it arrives already chosen, with the alternatives one click away.

Your raw footage stays with you

The server receives FLAC audio and a muted 480p copy for review. The original video never leaves your machine.

The script is the guide; the recording is the truth

Each paragraph of the script is matched with what you actually said. Improvised material is not lost: it is set aside, with the reason.

Multicam and vlog

Several cameras and several sessions sync on their own. Vlog footage from outside the studio goes where it belongs, at a little, medium or a lot.

Out to Premiere and DaVinci, with memory

The XML carries every alternative and marker: you can switch takes in your editor without going back.

It reads like text

The cut is a document: you see what plays, what was removed and why, and you change it with a click or Ctrl+Z.

Who it is for

Made for people who shoot to camera

01

Creators who shoot with a script

You record to camera with a text in front of you and repeat until it works. The rough cut is the boring part: the engine takes it.

  • Tutorials, explainers and reviews
  • One or more cameras, with or without an external mic
  • No deep editing skills needed: export an MP4 and you are done
02

Editors who want the rough cut done

You get the timeline by paragraphs with every alternative in your NLE. You start with the fine work, not with hunting for takes.

  • XML for Premiere and DaVinci
  • Markers on doubtful spots and every session change
  • Each client with their own account and credits

FAQ

What people usually ask

What exactly do you upload?

The audio of each source as FLAC (lossless, it is what the engine needs), the script, technical metadata of the material and a muted 480p copy of each camera so the cut can be reviewed if something fails. Not the original video.

How long do you keep what I upload?

Audio and review copies, 7 days. The resulting cut, 30 days so you can receive it on another machine. You can delete it earlier from the app.

Do I need a password?

No. You sign in with your Google account or with a link we email you. The first time, the account is created and you get 600 free credits.

How do I buy credits?

In your account on this website or from the app, with Stripe. It is a one-off payment (no subscription) and the credits show up in your balance within seconds.

What if a send fails?

Credits are held when you send and charged only when the cut arrives. If the job fails, the hold returns to your balance on its own.

Does it work with DaVinci Resolve?

Yes: the XML is the same one Premiere imports (FCP7 XML format), and DaVinci reads it. You can also render a direct MP4.

Do I need a powerful PC?

No. The heavy analysis runs on the server. Your PC needs to play video and prepare the material, like any lightweight editor.

What if I shoot without a script?

The engine infers the script from what you said (retakes collapsed, chatter removed) and does its usual job. Whenever you want, paste your own.
