We only use the cookies strictly needed for you to sign in to your account. None of them requires your consent.

What we use

ae_session (technical, strictly necessary): keeps you signed in to your account. Page scripts cannot read it, and it lasts until you sign out or it expires (90 days).

ae_web (technical, strictly necessary): only tells the page that a session is open, to show you “My account”. It contains no data.

ae_oauth (technical, strictly necessary): exists for a few minutes while you sign in with Google, to check that Google's return matches your browser.

We use no analytics or advertising cookies. If we ever measure visits it will be with a tool without cookies or identifiers (Plausible or Umami), and it will be stated here.

Videos

YouTube videos load in privacy-enhanced mode and only when you press play; until then YouTube receives nothing.

Payments

The Stripe checkout page has its own cookie policy.

How to block them

From your browser settings you can block or delete cookies from any site. If you block this site's cookies you will not be able to sign in.
