Terms of service
What you get when you use YU Editor: credits, levels, what happens if something fails and what is yours.
1. The service
YU Editor is a desktop application, this website and an analysis service: the app prepares your material on your machine and the server syncs, transcribes and cuts. The result comes back to the app as a version you can change freely. The website is for managing your account and buying credits.
2. Account
You must be 18 or over, one account per person. You sign in with Google or with a single-use link we email you, and you connect the app from the website with the code it shows you. The account is created the first time you sign in, and by doing so you accept these terms. You are responsible for what is done with your account and for closing sessions you do not recognise.
3. Credits and prices
Credits are bought in packs and spent per send, per chat reply and per script request. The price of each send is shown before you confirm it and charged only when the cut arrives; until then it is held.
Purchased credits do not expire while the account exists; free credits expire after 30 days. Credits are not money, cannot be transferred and are not exchanged for cash except as set out in the refund policy.
Levels (Normal, Advanced, Ultra) determine the AI model and the price. We may change prices and packs; changes do not affect credits already bought or sends already quoted.
4. If something fails
If a job fails, the hold goes back to your balance automatically. Jobs are retried on their own after transient failures. We do not guarantee specific turnaround times: the queue and capacity are shown in the app.
5. Your material
You warrant that you hold the rights to what you send (including your own voice and third parties' voices). Cuts, scripts and exports are yours; we claim no rights and do not use your material for anything other than your job, except for the optional improvement consent described in the privacy policy.
6. Acceptable use
Sending illegal content or content you have no rights to is not allowed, nor is using the service to attack it or bypass its limits. We do not review the content of jobs.
7. No editorial guarantee
The cut is a proposal made by an engine and by AI models: review it before publishing. We do not guarantee the result is the one you would have made or that it is free of errors.
8. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to it. We are not liable for indirect damages or force majeure. Nothing here limits the rights the law grants consumers.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms with notice by email or in the app. You can leave whenever you want by deleting your account from “My account” or from the app.
10. Law and jurisdiction
The law of España applies. Consumers keep the protections and venue their own legislation grants them.
